Children’s Ministry

We love kids at TCBC!

Sunday Morning Bible Study 9AM

Our traditional Sunday Morning Bible Study serves kids prek-4th grade. Kids enjoy a light breakfast (yes, don’t worry about feeding your kids breakfast on Sunday mornings! We’ll take care of that for you!) before breaking into small groups for traditional Bible Study.

Kid’s Church 10:15AM

During our Worship Service at 10:15AM, kids are always welcome! However, we do offer Kid’s Church for those in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. After the music portion of our service, kids ages 3 through 3rd grade are invited to come to the front steps of the stage and hear a kid’s message. Once the message is over, kids are escorted out to either Kid’s Church or to the Playrooom (3 and 4 year olds). Kid’s church is a place where kids can worship to fun, interactive music! They’ll hear a sermon relative to the message being presented in the adult service. Kids learn how to navigate the Bible, the meaning of worship, and share in a time of prayer and offering.

Sunday Night BLAST

Sunday Night BLAST is an exciting, energetic program for kids in pre-k through 5th grade. BLAST runs from September – May and meets on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7PM. If your kids love Vacation Bible School, they’ll love BLAST! We bring together Scripture memory, Bible truths, small groups, and a high energy game time all designed to build and strengthen your child’s faith! Registration for the 2019-2020 Sunday Night BLAST program is available now! There is no cost for this program, however a .50 cent weekly donation is appreciated!

Vacation Bible School

At Tri-County Baptist Church our unique vacation Bible school offers kids ages 3- 5th grade the chance to put their faith into action! Every summer at VBS kids participate in Operation Christmas Child (make this a link to OCC page?). Kids personalize, prepare, pack and pray for a shoebox that will be delivered to another child in another country. Kids make items during the week to put inside their boxes such as jump ropes, yo-yos, necklaces and water bottles, and on the last night they pack their boxes full of gifts for another child! This offers a wonderful way for kids to fulfill the Great Commission of going into all the world and sharing the Gospel without leaving the country! And no VBS is complete without all the usual fun of games, music, Bible lessons and contests! VBS is held each summer in June.
