Children’s Ministry

Sunday Morning QUEST 10:15AM

Due to COVID-19, Sunday Morning QUEST is not being held at this time. However, children are always welcome during our worship service currently being held outside at 9AM!

QUEST is a place for kids to discover God and grow in their faith! We have four classes available from our youngest infants through 5th grade. Our youngest quest-ers (infant – 2 years old) experience QUEST throughout the whole service. Our older quest-ers (pre-k through 5th grade) will be dismissed from the worship service during the greeting time. On the first Sunday of every month, our K-5th graders will join the congregation throughout the whole service (no QUEST on those Sundays). This is a wonderful time for your kids to learn alongside you and for you to demonstrate what worship looks like. QUEST will be available EVERY week for our nursery and Pre-k kids.

Sunday Night BLAST

Sunday Night BLAST is an exciting, energetic program for kids in pre-k through 5th grade. BLAST runs from September – May and will meet in person on Sunday evenings from 5:30-6:30PM. Until Daylight Savings Time, BLAST will be meeting outside. In compliance with Montgomery County guidelines, face masks are required. We will reevaluate the county guidelines on October 25 to determine if it is safe to move inside for the winter or to pivot online. If your kids love Vacation Bible School, they’ll love BLAST! We bring together Scripture memory, Bible truths, small groups, and a high energy game time all designed to build and strengthen your child’s faith! Registration for the 2020-2021 Sunday Night BLAST program is available now! There is no cost for this program, however a .50 cent weekly donation is appreciated!

Vacation Bible School

At Tri-County Baptist Church our unique vacation Bible school offers kids ages 3- 5th grade the chance to put their faith into action! Every summer at VBS kids participate in Operation Christmas Child. Kids personalize, prepare, pack and pray for a shoebox that will be delivered to another child in another country. Kids make items during the week to put inside their boxes such as jump ropes, yo-yos, necklaces and water bottles, and on the last night they pack their boxes full of gifts for another child! This offers a wonderful way for kids to fulfill the Great Commission of going into all the world and sharing the Gospel without leaving the country! And no VBS is complete without all the usual fun of games, music, Bible lessons and contests! VBS is held each summer in June.
