If we are going to be prepared to fight for our faith, it begins with committing to steadfast faithfulness. When we stray from God, as David did, we repent and turn back. When we go through the desert, we ignore the mirages around us and trust in our shepherd. When we enter the very valley of the shadow of death, we do not fear, we huddle closer to our shepherd knowing He will guide us through.
