John 3:16 is one of the most well known passages in the Bible. The context around this verse is not so well known. John 3:14-15 point us to a story story in Numbers 21 which takes place 1200 years before Jesus walks the earth. A story about an ungrateful people, a bronze serpent, and the hope we have for healing in Jesus Christ alone.
