If only we could see the fullness of the suffering of Christ, and the power of the resurrection, we would not fear the greatness of our suffering.

If only we could see the infinite span of eternity and the peace of heaven, we would not despair the length of our suffering.

If you see God, the consuming darkness of your pain will melt away because of His glorious light. The suffering will remain for a little while, but His joy will last forever.
