The church of Corinth struggled to be different from the world around them. They were riddled with division, beset with sexual immorality, some were bringing frivolous lawsuits against each other, and many didn’t want to give up their idols.

Paul writes and tells them to follow Christ. If they do they be radically different from the culture around them.
